◆Jiangsu Wuzhong Export Process Zone： 　　Set up in June 2005 with the official approval of the State Council, located in Wuzhong Economic Development Zone with a planned area of 3 km2, it is the first state-level EPZ attached to county(district) in China, and the first stage start-up zone with an area of 1.38 km2 was closed and put in operation in August 2007; its industrial layout takes bio-technologies and fine chemistry, electronics and consultation, photo-electro-mechanical integration, precision machinery, new material and other hi-tech industries as key factors. The enterprises inside the zone may enjoy multiple "domestic but outside customs " preferential policies.
